Having towed a caravan in rush hour myself I can sort of sympathise. If you tow properly you don't hold traffic up at all (except you can only do 50mph on a 60mph single carriage way road) but you do tend to want to keep rolling and as such don't want brake suddenly which some muppets (indicating or not) make you do when they think there is a gap big enough for their car to fit into in front of yours. What they don't think about is the fact that the car they are cutting in front of was using that space to stop in already so by you pulling out into the gap has caused me to brake suddenly.
I dont like towing the caravan and I try not to tow it in rush hour traffic. To help me avoid doing it, I don't even keep it in this country anymore.
