Sanctions, even NATO bombarding my country, etc.

Did I get any saying into my, or any other country's policy? Nope. You get to vote once in 4 years between 2 equally corrupt politicians.

Situation in Africa is even worse. Those people are looking for living, survival. They go through ordeal and take lots of sacrifice to get to EU. They are the same as people anywhere else. Poor, desperate, but basically the same. Imagine how desperate a man must be to go from a land of sunshine, all the way to, no less, than bloody England?!  Smile

When was Band Aid?
1984.

Yet the poor kids we saw suffering and enduring hell have since had their own kids and shown them on telly in adverts echoing exactly the same circumstances and suffering that they endured THIRTY ONE YEARS later.
Partly their fault, and probably even more to do with crazy despot leaders with zero conscience who honestly don't give a shit about anyone but themselves.

Here's a perfect example of how skint Africa is.
