Car driver kicks off so he gives the thumbs up and stays put as they pull away. He then goes up the inside of the car and opens the passenger doors of their cars a nats.

That wouldn't work in my car, (not that I'd noise up a fellow biker) but I've got autolock on my car that once I start driving you can't open any door from the outside, but if involved in an accident etc, they unlock. Only other way to open them is press a button on dash or use the internal handles.
I'm guessing you and your friend will eventually come across some cars with the same. You'll need to think of something else that you can use.
It did make me chuckle when I read it though :rollin
