48000 mile service

:agree
Over the years I have come across engines with as low as 10000 miles needing shims changed. On all the fazers I have seen over the years, there have been a few my own FZS1000 included, which needed shims changed at the 24,000ish mile mark.
My FZS1000 required 8 of the 20 shims changed at 25000 miles, at the time I rotated 4 shims and bought 4 new shims which put all the clearances to the centre of the range.
The risk in not checking is not worth it. :rolleyes
