Then there are many many cases where drivers have ploughed into some poor sod but are cleared because of low sun / poor visibility / wet roads etc.
And then there are cases where a jury of drivers have cleared another driver even though the evidence so obviously points to death by dangerous driving.
Oh what's the point.
I will honestly say, as you just reminded me of an incident years ago, i was coming back from a studio in Bow and it had previously been raining, and when i got to the Paddington flyover the sun suddenly shone so bright it hit the wet road and blinded me so badly i almost fell off the bike.
I went from about 60mph (honest) to about 15mph, it was either that or just shut my eyes and hope for the best.
To this day i've never experienced anything like it ever again, but i would presume it's a regular occurrence in that exact spot of road every now and then.
More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.
