Parking in a parking place or area not designated for that class of vehicle

Parked in a regular bay in Brighton for half an hour today and got a ticker for £70 - "[color=rgb(64, 64, 64)]Parking in a parking place or area not designated for that class of vehicle" - there is no sign anywhere saying cars only and I have used this spot for years to pop into the shops. There is  bike bay now it seems 500 yards away but it was hidden by cars and i didn't see it as I was walking the other way.[/color]
