As long as you're not ragging it everywhere, a good but rough indicator is 10 miles per litre.98-99 bikes have an 18 litre tank, so riding sensibly you should expect 180 miles.




i`ve nevr done 180 miles on a tank
it`l do 150  sensible riding two up with luggage
100-120 when playing  (normal riding  :lol )


ps: i`d never run it till it ran dry as you just pull any shit / grit into carbs not good

Just asked my Microbiologist neighbour to read your post using his specialist magnifying equipment.  :lol


I'm not a fan of letting fuel run right down either, I rarely let it go below a third of a tank full.
