i know the feeling mate, i had been out on mine for the 3rd weekend since i had it, really nice ride, got caught out on a line cobbles turning up a hill 30 meters from home...
I dropped it or should i say watched it slide down the road on its left side - whilst i lay on the road watching it :eek
bent the gear shift, and scratched the clutch casing, snapped LF indicator...little cowling damage...
luckily i could still change gear even with the bend shift lever....
I ended up searching ebay as OEM stock was far too much....
