just checked the TPS and it went to 10000
Adjusted it to 5000 and took it for a run. The bike ran as normal and the rev counter was ok (but was ok when I reduced the revs on my earlier ride) but speedo still not working.
Just had a close look at the actual cable and there is a nick in the insulation but I can't see that it has nicked the wire(s) inside. The cable was routed inside between the brake hose and the fork lug.
Could it be that one of the wires is broken? and would it be worth cutting whole thing open and making sure wires are connected? Don't really want to fork out for whole new speedo cable/sensor.
