Whereabouts should we stay for a couple of decent biking routes?
Would need a bike friendly hotel for a couple of nights, any recommendations?
Stay in Bristol , that way after a days riding you can enjoy a night out in the pubs ,clubs and restaurants , the Marriot is good , there is a multi storey car park next door which is discounted for staying overnight and the Fleece & Firkin is walking distance , from Bristol you can head to Minehead and carry on to Porlock , stop at riders in Bridgewater for a sarnie & coffee . also head up the A38  head to Cheddar via Shipham , then carry on up the gorge , across the Mendips to Shepton Mallet , then onto Longleat back via Bath , also down the A37 to wells , pass Glastonbury ,head for Burnham on sea then back via A38 , also the ride to Weymouth via the A37 and Yeovil and Dorchester is fantastic , from Bristol you can also check out Gloucester the ride to Bibury via Petty France , Tetbury and Cirencester is great , or head pass Castle Combe onto Avebury back via Salisbury plain and Longleat and Radstock .
You could also stay in Bath or WSM but i am biased towards Bristol .
