question on cans and KN filters?

I feel it could be crisper on power delivery, every now and then it can stumble on throttle application, like its growing very slightly, harder to start now than it was with factory can (needs a tiny turn of trotter with the starter button and then a throttle hold for 20/30 seconds) Maybe I should pull out the baffle and fit the filter and see how it runs, as in my optimistic mind I'm thinking that It might suit everything perfectly....  :rolleyes :b
