You could do mate but tbh perhaps your bike wasnt running perfectly even with the last stuff if it was just car oil....you maybe just didnt know that it wasnt


Id be tempted to get rid and get down halfords


I got 5 litres of motorbike specific oil 10W40 for about £24....it's at the bike section where they sell the chain lube and oxford stuff etc, not by the rest of the oils in the generic oil section.


If it was me then idrun the new bike oil for a few hundred miles, flush it out and replace again just to try get rid of all those old friction reducers.....or just run it until the next oil is due.
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike
