It was fixed and then the bosses son knocked it over. So two claims against the company insurance!
It was at this point I went nuclear and had the mother of all rage fuelled tantrums. I ended up with permission to park back where I originally parked it and what's more the company put a folding metal bollard in the space so my bike could not be knocked over.
They still have the larger parking space in front of my reception that used to fit 4-5 bikes with a metal post in the middle to stop cars parking in it.
But some miserable twat in accounts said people were "flicking ash" on their car further up in the smoking bay, although i believe it was more the smell of smoke when they had their window open.
So they swapped the smoking section, with the safe bike parking space, just to please the miserable feckers.
Not only is the new bike space smaller, only taking 3 bikes max, the bastards then decided to shove a cycle rack inside it as well for the spandex brigade!
In fairness though, i can now have a care free snout whilst swinging my arms around with all the space in the world, with no fear of being knocked over because of the metal post.

Meanwhile my bike is right next to reception now, tucked behind yellow lines, and covered by the window bay of the building, and some metal posts near a fire exit.
A new security guard asked me to move it the other day and a polite "fuck off" seemed to work a treat, and i've not been bothered about it since.

More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.
