The unfortunate problem on here is that not everybody comes back to tell what the problems were and what they did to fix it.
Your problem sounds like a corrosion or loose connection problem.

All the main connections are under the tank in a box.
As a start point, lift the tank open the black box and take the connections apart, treat them with contact cleaner or WD40, push them togrther and take them apart a few times.
There is also a white connector with 2 black wires under the seat either on top of the battery of near the right side of the battery, check this also as this is one of the loom earths

Try this and let us know the result
