I think indicators are an option on BMWs and Mercedes but most owners don't think its worth paying for.
To convert the earlier bikes to hazards you just need the left hand switch gear from a later model and it plugs into original loom. The later bikes have a solenoid connected to the parking light circuit so you could leave hazards on with key out, if you just swap the switch gear the hazards only work with ignition turned on.
I did the switch swao when I did learner rider instructing since it was handy when the learner stalled in 5th gear in the middle of a junction. It was either put the hazards on or drive off and hide round the corner until they got themselves sorted out lol
