I seem to remember that the A507 from Baldock to Buntingford is a cracking bit of road. A good warm-up for those approaching from the west perhaps.

Definitely one of the nice bits of road around here I do it fairly often as I travel to Hoddesdon / Harlow and down to Enfield occasionally though I've only done it a few times on the bike.

I'll be getting out on the bike as much as I can this weekend if it is dry so that I can scrub in the tyres. I'm still riding a bit like a nun after the last spill and the bike just hasn't felt planted at all - like I'm riding on ice or something. Hopefully I'll get that out of my system before the 29th
