Make sure and check it carefully for cracks, especially on the bar that goes between the two legs. If this becomes weakened, which seems to happen a lot with them, then it can flex too much on it's two mounts which can make it stiff. Make sure the bolts haven't been done up too tight, and a general clean and wd40 should free it up a bit.
