Is it a Michelin PR3 or PR4 by any chance, a pain in the arse to seat. The 4 is even worse than the 3 :'(
I found that standing the wheel upright with the valve at the bottom (core out) and kneeling full weight on the tyre to push out the bead was the only way I could get them to inflate and pop. :rolleyes
Last one took 10 minutes to change and an foccing hour to inflate pop :'(
