The Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show 2015
#19
Despite my previous negative comments I did actually enjoy the show this year.

The Rossi bits and bobs on display were nice to see, the bike out in the open up on a plinth to enable cheesy photo's was a nice touch. Better than being behind a rope and out of reach so to speak.
Very much enjoyed looking at Richard Hammonds and James Mays bikes and reading the info on them.
The custom bikes although not my thing were good to see, the time and effort that went into making them was impressive.

Father-in-law and I sat on many bikes and I think it has convinced him to change from his current V-strom 650 to the new XT version when it comes out.
So in my eyes it is mission accomplished, Suzuki will almost certainly have a sale out of it.

In all honesty I think the only negative comment I could make is the venue is still a touch too small in my eyes. We walked round it twice and even stopped for lunch and had left by 2pm. Makes me feel as though I am not getting value for money in comparison to the NEC show. Especially when you factor in the price of parking is £15 for a whole day and we were there for a little over 4 hours.

I think the only reason it was busier than last year is that the bike industry has many new and interesting bikes, people love to fondle the new toys.

The question is, would I go again?? yes I would. (next time I will take a packed lunch than pay £6 for a hotdog though lol)
Lord,
Grant me the WD-40 to move those things that are stuck, the Duck tape to fasten those things that are loose, And the wisdom to know the difference.
Amen
