For the most part, you'll need to follow Falcon's guide as the Fazer 600 & 1000 steering stems are identical.
£200 for both yokes & forks is probably the going rate, with possibly another £150 for an R1/R6/XJR front wheel complete with discs and tyre.
To be honest, nearly all the grief will with the yokes - stem swap, lock-stop adjustment, top-hat spacers and strengthening the underside of the top yoke to take risers.
Oh, and make sure you use Muddybuddy's speedo sensor idea if you want to retain the standard Fazer clocks, otherwise it'll have to be a Koso dash or similar.
