I have a ZRX1200R with Akrapovic full system, pod filters and Ivans Performance Pod Jet Kit. It runs like an absolute dream with more power and more responsive engine. Absolutely no problems with it. The Ivans Pod jet kit was the key I think as Ivan does countless runs on a dyno getting the jetting spot on. I fitted the jet kit myself and it was great. Had it checked on a dyno and it only needed a slight tweak to get it spot on.
Currently trying to get pod filters to work on my project Fazer and not got there yet. From what I can gather it needs the time putting in trying different jets, needles, etc. I may yet change my mind on pod filters. And yes they are just a cosmetic choice for me, however I still want an engine that runs well. If you follow my build thread I'll eventually detail my findings. I'm no expert though, but going to try and sort it.
