I use Spotify free as well. Other drawback is that you can't specify which individual track to play next. You have to use Random Shuffle and get the tracks in the order Spotify decides. No problem if you just want to try out a particular band. Other good aspect of free version is you can pick playlists like 'Modern Blues' and get a whole run of classic music to your liking.
