I have both and although I find the textile jacket warmer I feel like it acts like a sail when I'm riding. All  the pockets and buckles seem to catch the wind. After wearing it, as soon as I put on my Dainese leather jacket I feel so much more streamlined and can actually feel less resistance in the wind.
