PS. I'd be extremely grateful if anyone can translate the Ohlins reference into plain English in terms of suitable rider weight etc.

Dad bought in 09 from a pal who bought new 2 or three years earlier To suit a 12-13stone rider, which was spot on for him at the time, shock has been fine and only selling after trashing Faz and replacing with FZ but he never exactly push it, in terms of finding its limits

according to my Ohlins manual, Spring: 1091-31/95 L042 "L042" is a variable production serial number. Only the first numbers indicate spring specs (1091 is length, 31 is a spring rate code, 95 is Newton /mm spring rate).
