So a couple of questions:

Does this age have a catalytic converter and how easy to get rid of it?

Assuming things like oil/plugs etc are ok, what would be the 1st. thing YOU would do?

By all accounts i think they're a pretty reliable bike the FZ6....they just werent all that popular, but they handle well and are quick if you keep the revs high.........only probkem my dad has had on his since 2004 is the steering head bearings needeing replaced......apparently yamaha forgot to put grease in......i dont think it's a common probkem.

If i had to do something then it would be replacing the plastic looking exhaust end cans for a set of twin scorpions 8)
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike
