Hotwired Fazer won't start :(

Morning all,

Some little gobshite tried to steal my lovely Fazer last night I don't think they got it started because I found it a short way down the road in a hedge.

I've got it home, wired the ignition into the on position (using the Haynes manual as a reference) and.... nothing! The starter isn't turning, it feels like the kill switch is on but it isn't and there is no damage to the controls on the right handlebar.

Any ideas?

Things I've tried so far:
- Wiring up the ignition
- Checked all fuses
- Checked for any other damage

My multimeter decided to crap out on me this morning so I haven't been able to check if power is getting to where it should be yet.

The bike is a 98 FZS600.
