Right, an awkward job.
The screws are secured by glue, that's what the heat is for. But it also works without.
I used a centre puncher (hope that is the right wording ..) to rotate the screws. Maybe a small, solid screwdriver will do also. Once loosened they come out quite easy. Replace them by normal types.
Try WD40 first. You need a very good portion (flooding) as the contacts are not directly accessible. Rotate the key the same time.
Keep in mind that WD40 washes out all lubrication. The amount of oil it contains is very minor. Might cause the mechanical parts to get stuck in the long term.
