Why do insurance companies make things complecated?

why can't the front bracket be welded back on? or if missing, another made up and welded on?


i have a spare swing arm in the garage if you need one.

Thanks for the offer, but I managed to get an arm off Ebay cheap, I think I paid £35 posted.
As to injuries I am not in any apart from an aching on my left foot which keeps me up at night and an infection on my left foot which reminds me every so often.
