and why on earth they want you to go and get another MOT for a cat d. cat c definately. seems like they are trying to pass their costs onto you.
explain in a nice way that THEY are the insurance co and it is THEIR responsibility when inspecting the vehicle to ascertain it's condition/value, not yours. how can they make an offer if there is another £200 or so to be spent on it.
finally, your policy for that bike will cease the moment they send you the cheque as a payout usually ends the contract.
