Tried fitting my Roadhawk to underside of fairing, see here:-

It's a neat fit and discreet, but vibration is terrible. Footage is poor and the Roadhawk is very susceptible to vibration, think it shakes the SD card loose and it just stop recording at random, usually 5 mins after setting off for a really long and interesting ride... Also, the engine noise it picks up there is horrible and raspy. That said, at least the Roadhawk comes with a mount such that the camera can go in upright when stuck on underneath the fairing.
Have been wondering if I could hang something down from fairing bracket, or bolt to engine bars. But for time being, I'm sticking with helmet mounting and just running on battery.
