These pictures might help you find where the O2 sensor wire is located under the tank. The first picture shows where it comes out of the main loom under the tank and shows the O2 optimiser that is supplied with a juicebox plugged into it. The other end of the connector which comes from the exhaust is just left disconnected.
The second picture shows where the O2 sensor wire comes from the exhaust up the side of the engine on the left hand side, just where the tickover adjuster is shown in noggy`s picture. I have pulled it out a bit in the picture to make it a bit more clear, it doesn`t normally hang loose like that!
The third picture shows where I put my juicebox under the rear seat, which is where I thought a PC3 would go as well.
As for the item shown in your photo just below the oil window I do not have anything like that on mine, but mine is the faired version not naked.I always thought that both versions were identical except for the obvious fairing but again I could be talking bollocks
