All suggestions have been tried exactly as described. As a 20 year veteran of the motor trade I've seen all sorts of "can't happen" things. Your perception is your reality but I wasn't talking to you like a 5 yr old... But as a 20 stobne heavy metal fan chain smoking tattooed headed fat bastard , I am not used to people giving me shit , I can be blunt and to the point ,  so maybe I do come across in a certain way but I never set out to disrespect or humiliate... So,That's my style. Once people get to know me I'm a gentle giant. Most people on this forum don't know me and I don't know them. Don't take me to heart.
