Fixed!! Don't ask me how though!! 
I went into have a look, tried to unplug the relay but it just wouldn't come off, tried to test it from the rear, noticed the red wire was a bit exposed, pushed it all back in, and light started working!! Just like that. Not sure if ITT was the loose contact or something else, I have wrapped it in a lot of tape and closed up everything and lights working perfectly now.
Well, its still throwing the light to somewhere up left into the sky, but at least I more visible now. Alignment next.
