He was 38, that's the sobering thing for me. I'm 54, I ride nothing like as fast as that when I pass that very junction and others on the road, and if a car starts to cross like that one did I instinctively slow down even more.
But, in absolute honesty, when I was 38 I would probably have been doing a ton too. There but for the grace of god I suppose. Poor sod..
