If I have understood right....when re-assembling the forks they are stuck in the fully compressed position and wont budge........I have excatly the same problem a few weeks ago, pulling whats left of my hair out untill another foccer helped out.....this is normal.put the forks back in the yokes and give the forks a a good old tug.....they get stuck in the fully compressed position....it does mention it in the guide but I missed it as well :o....let us know how you get on
