I take it your on a 600? If so, then quite a few of them do that with Renthals or standard, it's got nothing to do with the bars.
I've had 3 boxeyes over nearly 100,000 miles, and 2 of them did it. Fucktifino why either!
I tended to just keep hold of the bars, it doesn't do it then.
