Don't know if you got your security sorted but I'd recommend people take a look at a company called Pragmasis. They're a UK company that makes chains/locks/ground anchors.
I bought their protector 16mm chain with an 'untouchable' lock and it's brilliant. 2 meters long, uncropable and chained to a telegraph pole. The bike isn't going anywhere :p.
