Being 6'3" I'm about the same size as you and an outright sports bike is just not for me either, they're too cramped for the long legged and big boned.....I have to say that looks good and if they don't take too much away from the re-tuned (not de-tuned) 182 bhp it will be a stonker........I think Yamaha will need to come up with something similar to compete and I like your thinking on the R1 crossplane but keep the bhp higher than 160 and up the torque too.
