OK, time to either make this happen or shelf it for some time next year. 
Starting with the art of the possible, I have now only one weekend free in September and that's Friday 19th to Sunday 21st inclusive. I'm not available at all in October and November, so those months are out, too.
I can fly into and out of Glasgow (Prestwick) with Ryanair for a reasonable amount. Edinburgh/other airlines are too costly to consider at this time.
I would need a minimum of 5 bikes to work on. The way the flight times work out, I could do 2 on Friday, 3, maybe 4 on Saturday and another one on Sunday.
I would prefer to base in one area throughout and the closer to Glasgow the better. Time spent driving between locations is time that I'm not working and that's not cost-effective for me.
If those dates work for you and you'd like to commit now, please add your name to the post I'm just about to put up.
