Just got my insurance renewal though from Bennets. I was expecting a bigger bill because of my accident last year which would have taken me from 4 years no claims down to 2 in theory.
Went through all the quote and it has my accident listed as it should, but 5 years no claims (which is what it would be if I had not had the accident). So, me being the honest chap I am, and not wanting to find myself in a position of being not insured phoned up Bennets and asked if it was correct.
Apparently, according to their records the claim was settled in my favour :woot (Don't know if you remember but I went into the back of a BMW after 6 cars on a dual carriageway anchored up for no apparent reason, thus making it my fault, surely, but like I said, not going to argue LOL).
Not wanting to pry too much I asked again, if five years was correct and he said yes. Not only that, when I said I wanted to shop around for quotes he instantly took £40 off making a year's insurance, fully comp, legal et al is £120

Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys beer, and that helps!
