When I was in the JLR plant in Solihull, the guy I was working with got moved from the CMM machines I inherited to work with those as well, he says they are great machines

Getting old now though, we're looking to replace the touch probes with laser scanners which will reduce the cycle times by 80%. We also have one that's over 35 years old and made of granite. I kid you not. We have a similar promotional poster of it with an XJS!
