FZS1000 Lights - Spain
#3
Were abouts in Spain are you? I have just brought down my FZ1. I am hoping there is an adjustment that can be made with in the unit to alter the dip beam alignment? Have you found out how much it costs to put the bike on Spanish plates. If you have spanish residency you have to have the bike moved to spanish plates within 3 months of the bike entering the country.
I have just sent all my bike details to Gestor/ cheap lawyer basically, they will let me know what I how much. I brought an Z1000SX down last year and ended up selling that as it was goint to cost €1200.00. The lad I sold it to has just had it done but apparently that is what it cost him. If the FZ1 is going to cost that much it will be going back to the UK and sold. The Spanish are taking the piss.
There is an article in a local paper RTN edition 30th May /5th June, front page giving advice about spanish plates. If you apply with in one month of a vechicle entering the country and have spanish residency it MAY?be possible to get spanish plates free? as long as the said vechicle passes the ITV.
