Quite possible that needs the chain is loose,
Check if it is over 50mm slack then adjust to 45 to 50mm slack on its tightest point.
Do not go less than 45mm, or you you could end up with the chain breaking when you go over a bad bump.
Does it shift into neutral OK when stopped?
