mine was 'mikeanised' in ferndown. many thanks for doing the work mike, appreciated.


i wasn't sure what to expect, but it's not a night and day difference. the character of my particular engine has changed however. it feels more 'sorted' almost like there's a link (like an ecu module)  between twist grip and rear tyre that's been removed. there's no fuss, just clean drive.


the truth is that this work should never have been necessary. it wouldn't have been difficult for yamaha to have these bikes leaving the factory doors like this, we can thank the bureaucrats for forcing manufacturers to produce less than top efficiency designs.
is it clean enough?
