My Dad's accepted that side of things pretty much now - well, he has to, cos he can't do anything much. But it's sad to watch. First, he had to pass his dog on to someone else (family and nearby, so at least he gets to see it now and again), then we had to tell him we didn't have the time (or energy) to keep his garden looking nice cos we both work jobs that take it out of us, though we do at least keep it a bit tidy. And lots of stuff like that. So he watches telly and reads, and that's his lot, pretty much.

Trouble for me is, after all the shit I've been through in my life, I'm not exactly the world's fittest guy myself, and have to deal with all my own problems at the same time. So I keep thinking I have to try to find ways to do all the things I want to do, cos I never think I'll be around much longer myself!

What a foccin life!  :lol
