Thought it was a good idea to put a fine tooth slitting cutter in the angle grinder to cut a section out of some hardboard that was nailed to the floor
.
Result. Cutter grabbed and took the angle grinder out of my hand and into the side of my foot. :eek It Cut straight through shoe and sock and flesh, fortunately stopped at the bone. Blood pouring out so big plaster and bandage and carrier bag to stem the flow followed by quick trip to A & E. Seen to straight away where they removed bits of shoe and sock from the wound and stitched it up. Fortunately no long term damage and lesson learned. Most painful part was the injection to make the stitching less painful. When I winced during the stitching the doc offered another anesthetic injection but as the last one was worse than the stitching I politely declined the offer.
