What made you choose a FAZER?

In 2002 after selling my VFR750 I was looking to buy something that could match the VFR as a real world bike.
It came down to a Fazer 1000 or a Vtec, the Fazer was a good bit cheaper at the time and Honda dropping the gear driven cams sealed the deal.
Kept that bike for 6 years before making my biggest ever biking mistake selling it to buy a ST1100  :rolleyes
