I got my Fazer as a swap for my Varadero 125. It seemed OK for me, certainly better than what I had. I remember the first ride on it, even on 33bhp, it felt small compared to the Vara, but boy did it shift!
Over the next year, I fell in love with its foibles, its reliabilty, its ability to do it all. I bought the ZX-4 as I couldn't afford to insure a Fazer - what a mistake that was. When I got the opportunity to buy another Fazer cheap, I seized the opportunity. And it's a project to keep me busy until I can afford to run and insure it.
