Photobucket changed their site so that it required a more up to date browser than my ancient computer could run, so I switched to using PostImage which does everything I want.
Having said that, I always resize images first rather than upload 7 megapixels and let the hosting site reduce it to a half megapixel image (but on a Mac that's easy
