Engine Bars or Crash bungs??
#8
Here's an expert on bed spilling and bike spelling!    :rollin

Bungs do a good job. They protect the engine from being punctured/broken all the way, while they are softer than the frame material so they bend.  Not sure about bars, but they should be even better.

It is also a good thing to make some sort of levers protection, like motocross bikes and some extra fairing protection if possible to mount on fazer.

Heres a bung's job done:

This was a rather low speed spill on some rocks on the road surface.

This sort of extra fairing protection I had in mind, man made these himself:

Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.
